I WON!
What genius invented eBay. A store where the person doling out the cash is a "winner". How could this NOT catch on? Who doesn't want to be a winner? You mean I can be a winner AND buy things that I want/like/need/desire???? YES! YES YOU CAN! YOU ARE A WINNER! WINNER!!! No, eBay is the winner. eBay now has your credit card number. eBay now has you convinced that by purchasing items through eBay you will become a fabulous winner everytime you spend money on that site! So spend spend spend! Spend away!

eBay, Amazon, and Black Friday are all part of the same system into which I fell and can never remove myself.
Example? Amazon's special sale this week is discounted HBO DVD sets. How could I NOT spend $150 on The Sopranos, when any other day I would have to spend $189.99 ? I am a winner!
Ebay, Amazon, and Black Friday are all controlled by Nigerian princes.
All you have to do is haul yourself up by the bootstraps and declare that "From this moment forward, I will only pirate the digital media I want to own!"
Oh well then I've been going about it all wrong. I only BUY the media that is quality and worth owning, while I pirate the media that I'm only slightly interested in.
Some day you will look back on this and laugh. "Look at all these DVDs I used to own that could be watched on a screen bigger than 15 inches and still not show digital squares! What was I THINKING?"
Exactly. That's why I want to give a shoutout to all those classy pirates out there who give me my digital-crack in 720p and 5.1 surround, on the night that it actually airs on TV. You, ladies and gentlemen, are key to my not supporting the economy. Thank you.
Btw, the best blog ideas come to you at 3:30am, so it's great to see someone with the initiative to post immediately when great ideas strike.
