I should have the ability to be mildly amused by a gigantic Irish ginger every weeknight at 11:35. It's America.

TheBoringThings never gets too political, but for the sake of all that is righteous, this is America's best and only chance to annihilate the scourge of Jay Leno from the television wasteland. If enough noise is made, corporate and capitalistic instincts will kick in, and NBC's desire to save face and look like the good guy will force them to quietly ask Jay Leno to retire from NBC permanently, thus paving the way for Conan to actually take over The Tonight Show.

I love Conan and Letterman, yet I hardly ever watch either, besides the occasional online video clip of a humorous happening from one of their shows. But Jay Leno is awful. In so many ways. He has been forever (don't let anyone tell you that he had to change his comedy when he took over The Tonight Show - Google it - he sucked in the 1980s too).

Viva la comedian revolution.

I don't watch Jay Leno.

Unfortunately, Jay Leno's existence is a perfect commentary on the state of American network television: where shows like Arrested Development only last 2 and a half seasons, where shows like 2 and a Half Men last more than 7 seasons, and where reality "contests" like Dancing With the Stars are widely and enthusiastically devoured by the mindless millions. The last great hope of American television lies with the premium cable channels (such as HBO and Showtime), who, more and more, are the only ones producing high-quality television.

I recommend "How I Met Your Mother"

Neil Patrick Harris is the best.

You know what I love about you DJ? You are not afraid to dig into the archives and post on old blogs. You are a Man. I hear you Roar.

Why would I ever be afraid to post on old blogs? Unfortunately I do not keep up to date on here every day, but I do hit my web link every once in awhile. AND CAN I NOT GET AN AMEN FOR NEIL PATRICK HARRIS? BRO AMONG BROS, MAN AMONGST MEN?

Neil Patrick Harris deserves a great deal of praise for being a funny actor and talented singer.

But, CBS sitcoms can all rot in hell.

yeaaah. I'm gonna have to go with Ben on this one. Shows with a laugh track and me typically don't get along very well.
